Ford worked with BASF to design the color. It was very difficult to photograph the paint shifts but in person it is INCREDIBLE. This car was purchased new in 1996 by a Ford Exec and was modified in 1996 with very rare parts including the Ford stamped Cobra R hood & the OEM Cobra R wheels. The hood was also painted at Ford in 1996 with the proper BASF paint which is no longer available. Besides the hood the paint is completely original. The Vortec supercharger kit gives a huge jump in power and provides for a fun driving experience. This car is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner. There are two other 1996 Mystic Cobra's currently on the market with similar miles that are priced at 27k (32k miles) & 32k (43k miles) & both are stock.
